hmmmmm....

So, for my Oral Interpretation class we have to put on a play for little kids. We're doing Wind in the Willows! Sound familiar? It was a children's book. Anyway, I'm playing the character Mole!!!! I did NOT want to play Toad. He has the longest line load. But Mole is one of the leads. It's so funny cuz my teacher told me to go out and buy mole hands, so i came back to class with warewolf hands (all that I could find). Haha. It's hard even with all the Halloween costume places around to just find hands. Haha. I almost bought a Chewbacca costume just for the hands!, but it was too much money. I also have to wear sun glasses, cuz ya know moles, they live under ground and they aren't used to the sun. I only have a short time to learn my lines, so I better get crackin.

I also went apple picking last weekend. I stepped and stomped on so many fallen apples that I made an accidental puddle of apple sauce. haha.  It was fun though. There was wine tasting there as well. I bought this bottle of hard cider that is really awesome. 

Nessa and Jeremy and I went into the city on Sunday. They took engagement pictures that their photographer (for their wedding) offers for free. So while they strolled around Central Park kissing and hugging embarrassingly in front of strangers, my brother took me to the Museum of Natural History. I might have been there before when I was really little, but I can't remember!!!  When I saw the huge blue whale I was like, "Whoaaaaaa! Look at the whale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My brother was shocked I hadn't seen it before. I kept thinking of the Ben Stiller movie Night at the Museum. 

Ok, so for the big news. Justin saw John Malkovitch and George Clooney and the Cohen Brothers! Of course he missed Brad Pitt, stupidly not taking off from work. See, Justin lives with an old woman who gives art people a break on the rent (Justin is saving up for an apartment so he can move in with his girlfirend). Anyway, her son is a well known screen writer who is friends with George Clooney and all them. They needed a brownstone house in brooklyn to shoot in, so they shot scenes in Justin's house!!!!!!!  Justin said John Malkovitch is MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!! He's not very nice to the crew, and he gave Justin dirty looks when he needed to help one of the Cohen brothers open an old door. One of the Cohen brothers (director), he said was really crazy and kept muttering to himself (he must have been on something). And finally George! He said he is really nice, but he looked like he was in a lot of pain since he broke a few ribs a few weeks ago. Justin didn't really talk to them, well, except the Cohen brother when he needed help with something in the house. But he stood right next to all of them! He got to see John Malkovitch run around in his underwear with an ax killing someone (acting of course). He saw George Clooney do a stunt car scene. They made fake rain. He said it was really interesting to see how they filmed scenes. BUT HE MISSED BRAD PITT! Mira, the old woman he lives with, said she talked to Brad for a couple hours on the doorstep! She said that Brad is really into the adoption of kids in other countries and stuff. So anyway, I would post a few pics my brother snuck in, but for some reason it won't let me. Once I figure it out I'll post the pics.

So, I saw the movie The Brave One, starring Jodie Foster. It wasn't bad. It also had Sayid (from LOST), I forget his real name. He had his British accent in it, kinda weird. Actually, I don't know if he was supposed to have an accent, but it slipped out I guess. I love Sayid. Anyway, Heroes was pretty cool. Hiro is still one of my favorite characters. Also Peter, but he's kinda lost  his mind right now. I guess you can expect that from an exploding man. Anyway, class is starting, so gotta go.

So yesterday was my last first day of school (unless i go for a masters eventually).

• I have copyediting, which is going to be a lot of writing and editing... basically looking for any wrong punctuation/style/spelling/capitalization/structure... meaning lots lots lots of work.

• Then I have Plays of Eugene O'Neill. My teacher said all of his plays but one are dramas, so I suppose this is going to be a depressing reading semester.

• Today I had Mass Media and Communication. Essentially learning about news/radio/television/magazines... how they all started, how they affect us, all boring stuff (but i need it for my minor).

• Then Oral Interpretation. I have to act and recite poems for little kids at the end of the semester. Should be fun.
  

All my teachers are nice, it's just going to be a lot of work. Oh, and I'm working 3 days a week at Thornwillow (12:30-5). $8 an hour, but atleast its good experience. It'll look good on college applications. Let's see, what else. Oh man! I went on IM for the first time in a million months! I totally forgot about instant messenger. Haha. Though hardly anyone was on, so maybe they forgot about it too. haha.

Guess what? I have been wrong my whole life!!!!!! I thought I was Year of the Tiger.... nope.... I'm Year of the Ox!!!!! They should really be more specific with their dates in chinese restaurants. See, I was researching chinese zodiacs for work, I needed to find illustrations/motifs of each animal. So while I was looking for them, I was reading up on all the info about them... specifically Year of the Tiger, because in EVERY chinese restaurant it said that 1986 was the tiger. It turns out it's more specific than that. It says that Year of the Tiger is from February 8, 1986 to the next February.... and I was born in January... so as you already figured out... I'm Year of the Ox!!!!!!!!! Crazy man. I checked a few website to make sure, cuz I was shocked!!!!!!!!! I still am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it makes sense because it said Tigers are outgoing and leaders, while the Ox is quiet. QUIET!!!! There's my freakin clue. Now I have to throw out all my tiger stuff, well, really only one neclace that had Year of the Tiger symbol on it. Ugh. I need to go yell at all chinese restaurants now. That might take a while, so I better get started...

Do you notice when you get mad, you feel like your blood is moving faster, like it is boiling and will erupt at any moment? I mean, sure I've heard of the phrase blood boiling, but I never noticed it before. Plus the feel of your pulse start to pound, as if someone was inside me hitting the skin of a drum. Little things are just bothering me for some reason. Yesterday, one of Nessa's bridesmaids wrote an e-mail to everyone saying how we should start planning Nessa's wedding shower. Excuse me? Who is the maid of honor? ME! So who does she think she is. I was waiting until after Jen's (another bridesmaid) wedding to be over before I e-mailed everyone. I got sooooooooooooo mad. I mean I wrote a nice e-mail back to everyone trying to cover up how insulted I was. I wrote back saying what ideas me and my mom came up with (Wine theme). Anyway, I guess she got the picture from everyone's response that I was the so called "leader", and she wrote another e-mailing apologizing to me. Which I forgave her. But boy, talk about stealing my thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now today, I swear, Luke can't do anything for himself. And I mean, he is the boss, so I guess he doesn't NEED to do anything, but this is ridiculous. See, there is this book being published, and he wanted me to gather all the original files of the pictures to put onto a cd to send to the printers. I only had four, but he has ALL of them on his computer!!!!! He wants me to transfer them from his computer to my computer and put them on a cd. Wouldn't it be easer if he just did it himself?!!?!?!?!?! I mean come on! It would take two seconds for him to put them on a cd. Instead of me having to wait to get onto his computer when he's  not using it, put them onto the hard drive, transfer them to my computer, find a cd. UGHGHGHGHGHGHGH. I can't tell if what I'm saying is rational because I'm too freakin annoyed. I think I may blow up one day because I keep holding my tongue. My face feels like a stone wall, I'm too angry to move it.

Whatever. Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts. Haha, I feel like I'm in Peter Pan. Anyway, nothing left to do but to wait to get on his computer. I"ll just pound my head against the steel desk until he's done.

ok, so i am extremely weird. i just wrote an e-mail to walt disney world trying to find this almond-crusted cheese cake recipe. it was the best cheese cake ever!!!!! i'm sure they won't just give it to me, so i might just have to make up my own. i guess i just really want that cheese cake. haha.

now that i got that off my chest, i am addicted to addictinggames.com. it has the best and weirdest games ever. they even have a paris hilton game, but i refuse to play it. haha. i like playing pinch hitter... but i can never get a home run! oh well. i guess i won't have a career in baseball. i hope a woman gets into the majors one day... cuz there are women in golf already!!!! that would be soooooo cool. except being in that disgusting dug out where all the guys spit gum, seeds, and tobacco. that will make any girl nauseated. i'm surprised with that disgusting mix none of the players ever stick to the floor!!!!!!!! haha. go yanks! 6 1/2 games behind boston... keep going!!!!

so i go two dresses for two weddings. i got a short blue one for the one coming up in a few weeks. very cute. and the other is brown with pink poka dots! soooo cute!!! too bad i'm not wearing it until the wedding in may. ugh. and for those who truly know me.... i never walk in heals. but i had to buy a pair for the wedding. haha. everyone would have been laughing hysterically if they saw me walking in DSW. I was awkward looking... almost as if i had been a guy wearing heals for the first time. haha. how come stores only sell 6 inch heels!!!! my god!!!!!! give us normal girls a chance!!!!!!!! i only found one normal size pair... and it is still too high for my comfort. i definitely don't have that girl gene... ya know, like on sex and the city, where they want to buy every pair of heels they see. crazy man. i should have born during the cave man era because i love walking bear foot. haha.

whoaaaaa. what happened? all of a sudden people stopped using xanga and went to live journal! crazy man. i guess i HAD to switch over. whatev. just another place to write and comment.

so, let's see. what's new with me? ummmmm... just workin i guess. editing motifs and such in photoshop, laying out invitations and stationary for customers, etc. actually, i'm at work right now and have nothing to do. i keep asking kim for stuff to do, which she does, but then i finish it within an hour and have nothing more to do. and what does luke think i'm doing? i have NOTHING to do after i do the projects they ask for. ugh. i'm too bored. haha. i don't know how else to ask for work? everyday i mention to kim that i can help her, but she gives me one thing! that won't last for 8 hours missy! i think kim and luke are too busy and are stuck in their own little bubbles to notice or not notice what i am doing.

anyway, i finished harry potter!!!! don't worry, i'm not giving anything away. it was sooooooo awesome. i can't wait for the 6th and 7th movies!!!!! i did cry a few times during this book. me emotional.

ok. i guess i'll go back to doing nothing.
